SCORING PROTOCOL
The selection of judges for the contest is based on their active involvement within the Leather Community,
both locally in Washington and on a national scale.
The scoring system employed will utilize Olympic Scoring methodology. Each judge is assigned a unique code letter, from which one score (code letter) will be randomly excluded from consideration in each category.
The contestant achieving the highest cumulative score across all categories will be crowned the winner.
In the event of a solo contestant, they must attain a minimum of 70% of the total possible score to secure victory. The specific minimum score thresholds will be determined based on the final number of judges participating.
Example Calculation for 70% Threshold
Eight Judges on the panel, the scores of Seven Judges will be aggregated for each category.
